History
John Peck & Co. was founded in Liverpool in 1816, where it established its flagship brand, Pexwear, from its factory on Edge Lane.
Over the next 150 years, Pexwear became a cornerstone of British workwear - clothing generations of workers across every trade and profession, from butchers and engineers to warehousemen and craftsmen.
Utility with a legacy.
Although the company did not survive the industrial decline of the 1970s, its legacy endures. Drawing on the original archives unearthed, we’ve revived Pexwear, honouring its heritage while reimagining it for today’s modern worker.
